From the Estate's oldest vineyard, the
2-hectare 'Salco', the vine is made from the native clone of Prugnolo Gentile that easily reaches a slight degree of overripeness with every vintage. The result of extreme vintage, this wine was vinified in upright oak casks,
and aged in oak for 18 mouths, in a combination of large Slavonian casks, and old and new small French Allier barrels.
It completed its growth in our cellars with three and a half years of bottle aging.
